Excellent sushi rice.
Excellent value for money. Very fluffy rice. Rinse thoroughly, leave stand for half hr to an hr in cold water then cook it in a rice cooker. Excellent for onigiri or just plain.

For fancy rice, this scores an 'okay'
My Taiwanese wife and I like good rice. With shipping costs so high at the moment, it's difficult to find decent rice at a reasonable price. I get a bit frustrated with these attempts to make their rice look Japanese. Sure it's a Japanese rice variety, but it's grown in Thailand. Sticking it in a fancy bag and writing 'super premium' on it does not make it high quality Japanese rice. And this isn't. It's okay. It's still streets ahead of British supermarket rice and the boil-in-the-bag variety, but it's not a patch on actually-grown-in-Japan Japanese rice. The price is okay, compared to other rices at the moment, but it's just not impressive. My wife judged it to be "the kind of rice you'd expect in a Chinese restaurant in the UK." And I have to agree with that. It's fine, but it won't impress you.

Tasty rice, strange scent
A really good rice! Relatively consistent grains, almost no darker grains showing spoilage, really happy with this given the price. It does have an odd, corn like smell however.

Love it!
When it’s on sale, good value for money.

Good rice, great deal
let me flat out say that this isn't the most superb, highest quality, for-emperors-only rice that you can buy. Surprise, if you want that, you should not look at bargain prices. This massive bag of sushi rice is VERy well priced, and almost bottomless. Coupled with a good rice cooker (mine is a YumAsia) you will get consistently good sushi rice; add some vinegar and mirin, and you're ready to go. Also works for risotto, not quite as well as Arborio, but then again Arborio can easily be found at most supermarkets.great deal on some good rice, i will be buying this again.

Not accurate description
It says Super premium but it actually just a premium. I find it is not an accurate description. It’s totally misleading.

Excellent for making tasty, starchy, molding rice triangles with, and 10Kg lasts ages.
I pressure cook mine for 8 minute with salt, seasoning, and a little Coconut Oil and food acid (Fresh Lemon Juice or Cider Vinegar) to boost Resistant Starch content, then leave it in the cooling pressure cooker for 20 minutes before molding it, then chill it for several hours in a fridge to further boost Resistant Starch content.Pressure cooking it seems to give much better results than boiling or steaming, it seems to become more starchy; it will probably also destroy more anti-nutrients like lectins.I keep mine closed by rolling the partly-open bag-edge over and holding it closed with a sprung clothes peg; a large bulldog clip would probably also work.
