Idiosyncratic taste buds tastes a biter aftertaste. You probably won't notice.
I have strange bitter tasters on my tongue. Aspartame activates them. I forgot and ordered a bunch. This is not to say that aspartame won't work for most people.

Packets filled to different levels
I always use 2 packets in my coffee. Some mornings it is too sweet other mornings not sweet enough. Then I discovered that the 800 packets in the box are different. Some have twice as much as others. Clearly a manufacturer packaging problem.
