Sew What?!?
This little sewing kit has *everything*—needles, needle threader (aka my new best friend), thread in more colors than a 90s windbreaker, buttons for days, a measuring tape that refuses to lie (even after donuts), and a seam ripper that's just waiting for my next fashion disaster. It’s all packed into a tidy little case, perfect for tossing into a drawer, a suitcase, or your car (because you never know when you’ll need emergency button surgery).I bought this thinking I’d just sew on the occasional button... now I’m hemming pants like a boss and considering a side hustle as a medieval garment repair specialist.Highly recommend for beginners, dabblers, and anyone who’s ever said “Oops, that wasn’t supposed to rip.”

How I'm using this sewing kit
I found that I needed a small sewing kit. The kit comes in a black zippered case, smaller than a typical book. I was very pleased that it included scissors, needles of various sizes, snaps, a great variety of thread, and everything else shown in the product description. Since purchase, I've used it several times. It's easy enough to just make a quick fix. For the price, I think this is a great buy. If you sew often, you probably need a more involved kit but this is great for the average person.

Tight, compact, varied, useful, well-organized sewing kit
This is a great little sewing kit for people who don't sew, keeping in the workplace, going away to college with, keeping in your car, etc. I appreciate the compact size of this sewing kit and pouch and the variety of contents inside. So far the zipper is solid and easy to use; it has not gotten caught on anything yet, and it seems sturdy. The little loop makes it possible to use a small carabiner to hook the sewing kit to a carabiner or hook inside my backpack for ease of location (if I wish). The travelability of it is such that I plan for the small kit to live in my backpack for work; I have already mended 2 things with it!The ring-thimble is a great alternative to the cap thimble, and I am liking it quite a lot. Most of the needles have very small eyes, and some are insufficiently perforated so that, with those needles, it is impossible to thread them. This is a real concern, and I wish there were a few more shorter needles with eyes that could be more easily threaded (or threaded at all). The thread colors are varied and excellent. The thread itself, however, is of *very* poor quality and it frays while sewing (just mending), and therefore tangles quite a bit.The organization of the kit is good, and everything is accessible but also carefully contained. I love that the needles are in a little plastic circle case; it allows me to find a needle without stabbing myself. A couple of the needles seem to be defective, as not even the needle- threader seemed to be able to pass through the eye. Because of these tiny needle eyes, the needle threader has been incredibly valuable (especially with my aging eyes...although a teenaged student also couldn't thread those couple of needles).

amazing kit!
actually insane how much you get for the price! the scissors are precise and there are so many needles of different sizes for different materials. the range of colors are amazing for what is needed. it’s very compact and doesn’t take up a bunch of space either. would 100% recommend.

Presented very well
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Personally I have been wanting to buy a sewing machine, but since it’s such a big purchase I chose this instead to see if I would truly have a passion for it. Although its not the same thing I would still like to see what I can stick on to my clothes to make them look better and might as well learn some basic skills.

Helps create that 1950s vibe in the evenings
My wife has used this kit for a year and it is very important to her routine. That and the fire place and dinner everyday and we have built a paradise in the evenings.

Compact and Handy Sewing Kit for Everyone
The Coquimbo Sewing Kit is a really useful little set that works well for beginners and experienced sewers alike. It’s great for travel, dorm rooms, or quick fixes at home. The kit comes in a sleek black case that’s compact and easy to carry around, which makes it perfect for tossing in a bag or keeping in a drawer.Inside, you get everything you need—thread in multiple colors, needles, scissors, pins, and more. The scissors are sharp enough for small jobs, and the needles are good quality. The variety of threads means you’re prepared for most common repairs, and the kit even includes some handy extras like buttons and a measuring tape. The size is just right—not too bulky but with enough supplies to get you through emergencies or simple sewing tasks. It’s a thoughtful gift for moms, teens, travelers, or anyone who likes to be prepared. The only minor downside is that for bigger sewing projects, you’d need a larger kit, but for everyday use, this one is spot-on.Overall, I’m very happy with this kit and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and complete sewing set. It’s practical, portable, and good quality for the price!
