VacmasterWet/Dry Pump Accessory. PE401

I bought this to help rinse my shop floor. I used to have to squeegee the rinse water off the floor. With this pump mounted on the drain of the wet-vac, a garden hose attached, and run out the shop door, it really is a time saver.

We finally got to try this out after our basement flooded again. My husband got it all set up. It worked for 1 minute and then turned off and refused to turn back on. It didn't fit our other shop vac, so we even bought the vacmaster shop vac to fit this.

Works Excellent. Better than expected. This product makes vacuuming water easy and safe.

I used this pump every day on to empty the (8 gallon) shop vac after three tankfuls (water without debris). It worked fine for 13 months when it stopped working. I purchased the extended warranty, knowing the pump would be heavily used. The warranty came in handy (easily redeemed) and I used the refund (Amazon gift card) towards the purchase of a second pump and warranty.

This thing is awesome so far. My mother has water in her crawlspace from a leaking pipe I sucked it into a vacuum and pumped out the remaining water a pump wouldn't pick up. Worked flawless and fast.

Unfortunately, for me I didn’t open my item until literally 15 minutes ago; which is well after the 30 day mark. So I can’t get a refund for this used and abused water pump I received. Literally, it appears to be taken a part and put back together. I’m unsure if water pumps are supposed to rattle when not on, but it’s something on the inside that rattles. Also, it may be a short in the cord or something, because if I move it while on it shuts off. Sigh. I paid full price for this, and lieu and behold today it’s half off! 😤

My basement keeps flooding and picked up a ridge shopvac...needed a pump to make my life easier and this is it! Worth the price. Only con is that it does not have an automatic shutoff when tank is empty. Just be careful on that. But if you are hesitant to buy just do it. I pulled 60 gallons from the floor without it till I remembered I purchased last year...yes, head smack. Put it on this morning before I attempt to dry out the carpet...worked like a champ. Very powerful!Had to use the attachment it came with to hook it up.

The pump saved me from some back breaking choirs. It pumped the water out of the wet vac quickly. I did have to use Teflon tape one the thread to keep it from leaking but other than that no complaints.
