First let me say that I ordered mine back in November 2024 and it is now January 2025 and I'm only just starting to use these. If there was any quality change in between those times, I just wanted that understood. Ever since owning a vacuum sealer, usually the FoodSaver brand, I have always bought the FoodSaver Brand rolls. I am a die-hard FoodSaver brand customer. Anytime I strayed, I fully regretted it. I've tried a few different vacuum seal bags that had excellent reviews and all found them desperately wanted. I liked the thickness of the FoodSaver brand bags. I didn't like the price, which is why every once in awhile I would try something else. I would generally use them up, double bagging them until they were gone but a few I actually just threw away. I am explaining this because for my review on these bags, you need to understand my mindset before trying these. After trying a generic vacuum sealer and throwing it away after the second use, I spent $150 on sale for my newest FoodSaver brand vacuum sealer. However I was almost out of bags, and the amount of bags they send with the machines is laughable. I couldn't really afford to buy the vacuum seal bags that I so desperately needed in addition to the machine. So I tried once again to use a generic thinking that even if I had to double bag at least it would last long enough for me to recover in order to buy my normal bags. For the first time I was not disappointed. These had excellent reviews so I figured once more down the rabbit hole. But when I tried them, the first thing I noticed was they are not much thinner than the FoodSaver bags. There is a slight thinning but they are very durable. The second thing I noticed was they didn't have the white stripe for writing the date however, I found the textured side takes the marker just fine. I ordered a pack that had three rolls of 8 in and three rolls of 11 in which are the only things I ever use. I don't like the baggies even though my machine has an attachment for it and I can't afford the containers plus who wants to create storage space for those things. The variety in the box suited me. The storage capacity is based on how much of the bag you cut, just like all the others. I didn't measure them to make sure they were the size they should be but upon use, they seemed exactly what I was already used to. They are a easy to cut, easy to fill. My only problem with these was after filling, the edge curled. If you're using a flat vacuum sealer, that's not going to be an issue for you. However mine is an automatic feed system, and a curled edge caused a problem feeding into my vacuum sealer for sealing. It is remediable. You can pull the two sides together on each end and it helps to curve enough to feed it in. A problem I would definitely not like to have however considering the price difference between these and the FoodSaver brand, I am more than willing to put up with it to save so much money, since I saw no other faults. I will be buying these a second time, to ensure quality control before committing to them completely. For the first buy, I am extremely satisfied. Even with the curling of the bag, considering the price difference, I decided not to even take off a star. I wanted to be able to use my vacuum sealer for more than just separating meat into one time usable quantities. I want to be able to take any prepackaged food and be able to vacuum seal it so we don't get the ice crystals. Basically I wanted to be able to use it as much as I want. With the price of these bags and their quality, I am now able to accomplish just that.

I’ve been using the Bonsenkitchen vacuum sealer rolls for a few months now, and they’ve completely transformed the way I store food. The quality of the bags is excellent—thick, durable, and with a strong seal every time. I love that I can cut the rolls to the exact size I need, whether I’m sealing a single chicken breast or a big batch of veggies.They work perfectly with my vacuum sealer (not even the same brand), and I’ve had zero issues with leaking or failed seals. They’ve held up great in the freezer with no freezer burn, and I even use them for sous vide cooking—no problems at all!If you’re into meal prepping, bulk shopping, or just want to keep your food fresher longer, these are a great value and a smart purchase. Will definitely be reordering!

So far, so good. I use an old "Seal A Meal" machine ( which I have even replaced the foam sealer around the vacuum slot). I have had no trouble sealing them. They seal just like the brand dedicated to my machine but are much cheaper.The fact there is no white "write-on" area is not a problem as I use Sharpie Permanent pens and there is plenty of room at the edge just above the final seal for info notes. I especially like that there is no cardboard tube in the center of each roll. Less waste and guilt at not finding an alternative use for those super sturdy tubes!

I think the product is fine most likely, however there are no instructions available, and I have noticed that one side of the bags is smooth and the other is textured. Why? Should I put the bags into the sealer machine smooth side up or the reverse? Some of the time the vacuum doesn't work.

Used with the same manufacturer vacuum sealer, so unsure about using with a different brand. Very sturdy and heavy plastic, bur still extremely flexible and easy to use. Made individual bags by sealing two ends on the roll( see directions on your vacuum sealer) , which should save money in the long run, instead of buying pre-made bags.

These bag rolls are perfect for storing or freezing items. You can make whatever size you need. These are gallon size so the width is about the size of a gallon freezer bag. They work perfectly with my vacuum seal machine. Very strong and definitely worth the cost to keep my freezer foods longer and prevent freezer burn.

I couldn’t live without these. If you haven’t used them give it a try. The vacuum seal bags is the best thing ever. Once you seal it it stays sealed and the fact that you don’t get the air and ice on your food is a BIG money saver. I like to pre freeze my meats when the liquid is in the package, that way the liquid doesn’t interfere with sealing as you vacuum, also my fruits and vegetables. These are perfect for saving money and not throwing away freezer burned food. They are thick enough for protecting your food and you can boil with them, a Great investment

When I first purchased these vacuum seal bags for my husband, he didn’t know if it was gonna be better than the namebrand so he started using them and found out that they was really good. He ran out of bags and he informed me and I let him know Father’s Day was coming up so I purchased him to this time and he loves them.
