My last bedside clock broke a few months ago and I have been using my phone to read the time. Which is why I needed to buy a new clock, I was picking up my phone to read the time and then continued to read the news or messages.. I am sure you get my drift! I thought these looked quite retro and I loved the fact that they reminded me of a clock that my mum had when I was younger.. Sold on that point alone. I did look at others of a similar style but kept returning to these as they were British made. On arrival I was surprised to receive two clocks, which makes this purchase good value. The clock back was fiddly to get off, but it may be my arthritic fingers which didn't help, to put the battery in. You have to place the clock in a sunny spot to get the numbers to become fluorescent, this happened quite quickly even though the day was quite dull. The clock wasn't heavy but I didn't feel that this was a problem, flimsy? Not really, the clock is easy to read in the dark, looks good and excellent value plus it's British made. Clear winner for me!!

I'VE HAD THE PRODOCT OVERNIGHT AND THERE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ANY PROBLEMS. IN SPITE OF THE PRICE I AM YERY PLEASED WITH THE INITIAL GENERAL APPEARANCE OF THE PRODUCT,I PARTICULARLY LIKE THE "GLOW" EFFECT OF THE NUMERALS.

Nice clocks apart from the fact they do not illuminate in the dark for long. They illuminate when we first turn off lights at night but in the early hours they no longer show just when you need them too. So rather pointless..

Keeps good time alarm works OK numbers glow fine but hands don't but there is alight when you press button on the top which is OK good value for two clocks

As a bedroom alarm clock this is very good - looks good and is a nice item - BUT - at night the numbers glow in the dark beautifully - nice and large and easy to see - however the hands are so thin they become invisible so its impossible to tell what time it is!!............so as a nightime clock it is bordering on useless!! - SORRYdave wilson

Great size value for money

If you want a daytime clock this is great. Silent and large numbers. If you want to see it at night forget it. If you are close enough to it you can see the numbers but the hands don't glow at all.

Very easy to see, especially at night, no sound, good quality, would certainly buy again and as a bonus you get 2 clocks
