I have a ID card that has to be worn where it can be seen and it used to key in and out of doors. The standard offering from the company has never lasted more that a week. I wanted something durable, since I tend to break things. This may actually outlast me. It has a coated metal cord, a heavy duty spring on the retraction and the carrier holds the card and has a clear front to make sure the badge is visible. It is heavier than a normal lanyard but I think its as close to unbreakable as I am going to find. It fits one card comfortably and has a key ring for physical keys or Yubikeys if needed. They state it will hold 3 oz. with out difficulty and I suspect that may be an under estimation. Feels like it would work really well with facilities staff.

I work at a bank and this nifty little thing has been a life saver for not only holding my badge but also making sure my keys are right where I need them. I've bought others before that the rope had snapped within a few weeks and this did not disappoint. 8 months and still practically brand new. The clip is great sturdy quality as well. I'm so amazed by the reel itself there is no slacking or anything after a million pulls through the day. 10 out of 10

I bought this to replace the one my job originally issued to me. The retractable tension is very strong which is exactly what the ad described. The badge holder is also beefy and my work badge fits perfectly. A lot of coworkers have inquired about it as it also looks good.

I use this everyday at my job at an airport and has yet to have any problems with quality of it. Card don’t fall out and haven’t even been close yet and I move a lot. Only wish it would scan a little better through the plastic sometimes

After continually losing my work badges, I decided to spring for something a lot sturdier. So far it’s perfect but I haven’t taken it to work yet. One, can in fact fit up to two cards but my ID badge and my clock in badge have to be separated to work properly. The feel secure and not likely to get ripped apart like my last one.

These were a great buy so I can clip my keys onto my purse and extend the line to unlock the door so don't have to fumble around while I'm holding a child or groceries.

Exactly was I was looking for to replace my basic work badge which had a cord that frequently broke. This one is much more rugged and well built.

Read some other reviews. I saw people having problems with the clip breaking. But I haven't had any problems. The cable is strong and the quality seems good
