This worked fantastic for us!! We needed something that would sand our hardwood floors under the cabinet hang over. Worked great!!

I use this for finish sanding clear on projects in my body shop. The main use is dry sanding with 1500 to 2000 grit paper, and wet sanding with 2000 to 3000 grit paper using a spray bottle to dampen the surface. I've heard reports from wood workers that the auto shut-off kills the unit after using it for a straight 30 to 45 minutes. But for auto body work, I'll never use it for that length of time. I have an SPTA circular electric DA that is almost exactly like this unit, but I bought the MaxXT for finish sanding, and for the shape of the pad. You can get two small 2.75"x4" interface pads that will work with this, and then buy hookit sand paper by the roll. You can also use 3M flexible hand sanding sheets with it. What I love about this unit is that it is VERY low on vibration, much less than any of my air sanders. I can't use DA's very long without cramping up my hands, so this is a very valuable option for me. And it works GREAT. You don't need to have the high vibration to get the result you want if you know how to use it right. I almost never turn it up past 2 (out of 5 on the speed setting). This thing paid for itself in ONE JOB. When you're charging $1000 to $2000 just for the finish sanding on a custom paint car project, spending $220 for a sander that won't wear out your hands is a great investment.

A little expensive for its size but works very well and has plenty of power. That combined with a good sanding fabric gets the job done .

Much better quality motor and armature than expected, this sander is quite heavy for it's size. It's also quite strong when cranked up so I'm thankful for the adjustable speed. The ergonomics are okay, but if you're using this for hours you might wish for an extended D handle on the top or side. The hose attachment is a nice addition and was easily attached to my shop vac with a coupler attachment. I'm also pleased at the standard size paper compatibility making it easier and cheaper to replace various grit paper. Overall, I'm surprisingly pleased at the heavy duty feel and construction of this sander... it should last for years with proper use and care.

Low vibration so performance is great. Quality is good.

The sander seems very high quality, it runs very smooth, and is very comfortable. HOWEVER, the dust collection hose is such an odd size it fits practically nothing rendering the unit almost useless.I wish they could’ve included some adapters to fit common vacuum hoses.

This sander has many of the features I would expect to find in a fancier sander. I use it for hobby woodworking and up to this point have used an orbital sander that you sometimes need 2 hands to try to keep in place. This sander is much easier to control and I really like the paddle control where I can control it much more precisely. The sander itself does not jump around like my other sanders and after finding an adapter to fit the dust hose, I was able to hook it up to my Rikon Dust collection system without issue.I have looked to see where you can buy replacement/additional sanding pads for this particular sander and thus far have come up empty. This alone knocks 1 star off for me as replacement pads is kind of important to be able to continue to utilize this in the future without having to customer cut my own replacement pads.The second issue I have is the price. While I do feel this sander is of a higher quality, if I wanted to spend this amount of money on a palm sander, I would just buy a festool oribtal sander for only $20 more than this one. As this is a relatively unknown brand, I think this would be more reasonably priced at about $100-$150 vs the $229 that it currently is priced at. This knocks another star off for my rating.Now, as far as this sander is concerned, I have had no issues with the machine itself and it has performed exceptionally well and I find myself using it more often than my normal palm sanders that I already own. It does not feel like any corners were cut in it's production and bottom line: It does NOT feel cheap like some other unknown tool brands I have acquired in the past.Ultimately, I would rather spend the $20 for the festool, but this unit is still a quality machine, just not one that I feel deserves higher than 3 stars for the reasons I stated earlier.
