Always Good To Have A Decent Supply
I learnt years ago that a decent power supply from a decent name such as Corsair ultimately saves more headaches and money in the long run than a string of budget/cheap PSUs. Yes they cost more money in the first place, but they last far longer. Budget PSUs might be cheap, but if (or when) they pop, they tend to take your system with you, assuming they can pump out what they claim in the first place.Anyway having upgraded my hardware (from a Ryzen 3 1200 to a Ryzen 5 5600 and a GTX 650Ti Boost to a 3050) so that I could upgrade to Windows 11 and run Cities Skylines II at a semi-decent frame rate (while not have everything in the game look like it was made out of plastic), my previous 480w unit wasn't quite enough to power it, as I found out when the computer spontaneously restarted after 5 minutes of gameplay and not through blue screen either. Usually the voltage drops and that reduces the amount of power available, so the computer can't run and its as good as hitting the reset button at that point. The Corsair 750 does what it says on the tin - provides 750w of power- and like most computer components if you know what you're doing, its a piece of cake to swap out. Swapped it out, plugged everything back in, powered it up. Fired up Cities Skylines II and the computer ran for 3 and a half hours in the game without falling over once. The length of the power cables aren't particularly generous I have to say, which may be an issue in a larger case. All the connectors you need are here - three SATA (all on the same cable), two legacy four pin ones, and your standard 20/24 pin, CPU power 4/8 and two PCI-express x6 connectors. The trend towards M2/NVMe devices and no optical drives may mean you don't even need the SATA connectors anyway. Like most decent power supplies it doesn't sound like a hovercraft when in use either. You can't go wrong with a Corsair if you're in the market for a new unit (by choice or otherwise). If in doubt about your power supply needs, get a higher wattage unit - your hardware will only takes what it needs.

Quiet and Reliable 550W Power Supply
The CORSAIR CX550 power supply is perfect for my PC build. It runs quietly and provides steady power. The 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency helps keep energy use low. It’s not modular, but the cables are easy to manage. Great value and reliable performance!

Great PSU
Worked as expected, cable length and quality are as described on the product page. This device is extemely quiet while running. Nicely designed and looks great in modern systems.

Does it's job.......
In my instance the power lead to the cpu was very tight and short. Maybe a mini atx case would have been a better fit but I wanted a slightly 'airier' case, so it turned out a couple of inches taller than a standard case. Think I would go for a modular psu next time for the flat cables, these cables are quite firm and reluctant to bend where I need them to. Does it's job though.

Very quiet and solidly built
Easy to order, as advertised and delivered next day. Corsair power supplies are the best, this model is more the sufficient for most pcs unless you have a power hungry graphics card. The fan is very quiet

good build quality and what you come to expect from corsair.
I'll echo what others have said about its short sata cable and the need to buy extenders if necessary to connect the HDD/SSD up. im working in a tiny case and it really struggled with the length of the wires.that said its installed to replace my old cv450 and is running sweetly so 5 stars.

Big improvement on the stock original
This runs my pc noticably cooler and alot quieter and smoother. Didn't realise how much impact a good psu could have, but now I know. Thoroughly recommend this.
