Gotta go fast!
Great looking illustrations on the cards, includes quite a good amount of them too in one pack. The rules are also enough that you can make up custom rules to make it more interesting.Great price, sturdy cards and tons of fun, thx!

WHOT a lot of fun
The original game of Whot is given a Sonic twist with these well made cards. You have 5 suites of cards with different numbers, symbols and characters - in these cards the characters are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Shadow. You deal 6 cards to each player, place the pack face down, turn over the top card and start. The game is to match the face up card with a symbol or number or character, place your card on top and move on. However for me a downside is the characters and symbols are te same on each card so each sonic card has the same symbol and each Tails card has the same symbol, I would have thougt these sould have been different, like te numbers are, to allow greater playability. If you can't play you pick up from the pack. The game ends when you've no cards left, the remaining players total the numbers in their cards and players over 100 are out. You get "Whot" cards that can be played anytime but these have 20 points so don't hold onto them at the end, or just make your own rules. It's a fun game with a modern image of Sonic and friends that can be played by kids who can recognise shapes, characters and numbers.

Fun easy game
We played this as a family of 2 adults and a 4-year-old. The game was easy for everyone to learn and fast to play. It kept my daughter's attention and the characters are cute and fun. I didn't know what to expect from the game, it is a little like Uno but more fun I'd say.

Great game for all ages
First impressions of this were really positive, the branded packing was bright and colourful and my daughter (5) was instantly interested and wanting to learn how to play. The instructions were straightforward and we found them simple enough for us to explain how to play to her. It’s basically quite similar to another popular kids cards game, you just have to try and get rid of your cards by matching them to the character or number of the card that’s been put down. She found this really fun and was able to win a few times without us having to “let” her win which is always a positive! From a parents perspective I also love that it’s small and fits neatly in her backpack or the baby’s change bag so we can take it out with us to play at restaurants or families houses.Overall, I thought this was a great family game and I’d happily recommend it!

Not the most captivating game
I feel like this is a version of another game I’ve played before but I can’t remember which, it’s a bit like Uno. You have a pack of cards and the aim is to get rid of all the cards in your hand. You do this by trying to match either the picture or number card on the pile and you have to pick a card from the deck if you can’t. There are several wild cards which you can play on any card. The cards are Sonic themed with different characters from Sonic on the cards. I got this game for my four year old who really likes Sonic. He was very excited to play it but lost interest after one round. It’s not the most original, fun or engaging game. The rules are simple enough and it’s easy to pick up. I was a bit confused by the rules which say you have to match the colour, shape or number on the card; we didn’t know what it meant by shape as the shape is always the same as the character, so there’s only actually ever two choices of things to match, the character or the number. When you play a wild card you have to state which card it would be if you played it. This is a bit difficult if, like me, you’re not familiar enough with Sonic to know the names of the characters.

Brilliant Nostalgic Card Game with a Modern Coat of Paint!
WHOT! was probably one of the first card games I was introduced to as an early 90's child. It's very similar to UNO in some regards but has always been my preference due to early childhood memories with it.Since this has a Sonic coat of paint, the original shapes (circle, triangle, square, cross and star) now take the form of items found in the Sonic games (red star coin, gems, rings and item boxes); each item also has a corresponding Sonic character. There's no need to have knowledge of Sonic to play. There is also special WHOT! wildcards that allow a player to change the shape if they have nothing else to play. It's very simple to play; with the target being to get rid of all your cards by playing a similar number or shape/character to the card in the centre. Once one player has ran out of cards then Knockout WHOT! begins. Any remaining players must then sum up their cards. If anyone has over 100, they're out. The players all draw one card until they're the last one standing (with cards <100). Like traditional WHOT!, the WHOT! wildcard is worth 20 points and the Sonic cards are worth double points (the smaller of the two numbers on the card). Now my one grievance with the instructions is that it does not mention what the smaller of the two numbers is on the Sonic styled card. I only knew this from playing as a child.Otherwise, I think this is a fantastic game to play with the kids. It's quick and simple to learn and there's a chance for two winners in a round (the main game winner and the Knockout WHOT! winner). My 5 year old had a blast with this, would definitely recommend!
