I purchased this book for a budding artist. She has been using it frequently. It has all the structures one would need to draw the human figure. It breaks down how to draw joints and muscles. the direction is easy to follow and interesting to look at. If you have a budding artist that is working on a portfolio, this instructional book is perfect.

been an artist for over a decade. I've always felt awkward drawing torsos and arms. After reading like 10 pages I'm suddenly 100x better in a week than I have been in all of my time drawing. WTF IS THIS MAGIC!?!?!

Exactly what was expected

It's not a deep book from Anatomy, but it's very precise according to the parts of the body in a drawing way. But, If you are not familiar with geometric shapes.. It may not be help to you. I'm doing some exercises from this book, but the images can be confusing. It has many ideas on how to start drawing anatomy... But I think it's better to go deeper.

I'm trying to get back into drawing, painting, art in general and this is a good starting book. I try to draw one page out of this book a night before I go to sleep.
