a good dependable knife that stays sharp for a while

The wooden handle is handsome but a little too slim. However, the pocket clip and mechanical spring functions are spot on allowing for effortless opening and closing. Nice! Slightly overpriced.

Good budget price for a knife designed by Bryan Montalvo. The wood with Damascus looks great and the fit and feel on par for the price. There are imperfections in the Damascus on my particular knife and there is some lock stick. Otherwise it as a nice ergonomic slicer for a good price.

I have carried a pocket knife on me for years but it was always some random knife I would randomly pick up. I recently decided to look into a proper pocket knife with good value. As always I feel down a rabbit hole of online research. CIVIVI was a name I would see pop up consistently. I ended up with the Bluetick and this thing is a clear upgrade to every knife I have owned before. Lighter than expected but still feels solid. Weight is balanced nicely, not too much into the blade or handle. Easy to pull out, and deploy with one hand. Blade is a bit bigger than what I'm used to but I like it. Great experience so far, might have to look into more CIVIVI products as gifts.

Ergonomics on this knife are great for my hand. I really like the jimping and the flipping action right out of the box was solid and relatively easy. I plan to work it into even smoother operation with time as it breaks in. Great quality EDC knife!

Not Damascus. Looks more like a gray patina with laser etch to look like different layers. Bummed. Good mechanics and grip. Looked like a cool knife but not for the extra $30 for a fake finish. Sending back.
