Although I sometimes encounter nutritional supplementation products that tout mega-quantities of nutritional components, given daily percentages, I found that that practice would somewhat seem impractical, yet I encountered some products that performed well, on this basis. This products on the other hand, is generally tame, when it comes to the percentages, but it's made of good quality ingredients, and I feel that it's made well, with good eye health in mind. Thanks for making this product!

The bottle is pretty basic, it was sealed in plastic at least. It says "Formulated in USA" with no mention of where it was manufactured/bottled, which I can only assume means it's not made in the USA. That said, the capsules seem to be decent quality with no unpleasant tastes or smells, a little big but not hard to swallow. AREDS is mentioned on the product page, but not the bottle; the ingredients are similar, but not quite the same.Contrary to its name, this is not the 'Ultimate Vision & Eye Care' vitamin. But it's fine. It's certainly better than nothing, there's nothing obviously bad about it. If you care about your eyes, consider something like this.

These capsules include a great variety of ingridients like Lutein, this ingredient is a powerful antioxidant with numerous health benefits, particularly for eye health, skin protection, and potentially cognitive function. The capsules themselves are easy to take and have no taste or smell. Overall these are a great way of getting good vitamins for eye health.

This seems safe. It's manufactured in the USA in a cGMP-compliant facility that is FDA inspected, gluten-free, and non-GMO. The gelatin in the capsules is bovine, so it's not vegan.It's made in a facility that processes the usual known food allergens (including soy, shellfish, wheat, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts) so some may not be able to take this due to possible cross contamination with these foods.Areds 2 supplements include antioxidant plant pigments to support vision. This formula has more carotenoids than just lutein. The transparent capsules are bright dark green color and rather large. The formula contains zinc. I'm going to read about recommended amounts of zinc as well as some other items in this supplement before starting these.

Excellent source of lutein for eye and overall bodily health! Easy to take and a good supplement with many benefits for overall health.

This supplement has all the major items for supporting eye health--Vitamin A, Zinc, Lutein, Bilberry, Glutathione...etc. But most of these things aren't going to be in a multi vitamin (at least in any amount), so you don't have to worry about taking too much.You take two capsules a day with a meal, so this bottle is a 30-day supply.

I have been taking eye supplements for over 25 years at my eye doctors suggestions. I feel these capsules are effective and a very good value. You take 2, easy to swallow capsules per day. I didn't feel they tasted bad or had a bad aftertaste. (It seems like all of the Areds-2 formula eye supplements have an earthy taste, but not so they are difficult to swallow.) In addition, I didn't experience any digestion problems after taking these.These capsules have all of the ingredients of the Areds-2 formula, which I really like taking. Also, I appreciate that these are manufactured in a FDA inspected facility and a GMP certified facility. They are certified non-GMO and were formulated in the US by a US based company. My bottle arrived with an outer seal around the cap and an inner seal under the cap, so any tampering would be evident. In addition, my bottle has a February 2026 expiration date, so they are presumably fresh when shipped and have a long shelf life.With these you take 2 capsules per day, so each bottle lasts 30 days. At $0.53/day, these are priced well for Areds-2 formula supplements. Therefore, I would certainly recommend these Areds-2 daily supplements.
