I've been using the CANARY Cardboard Cutter for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it’s become my go-to tool for opening boxes and packages. First off, the serrated blade is super sharp, and it slices through cardboard like butter. I love that it’s made from Japanese stainless steel, which feels sturdy and reliable.One of my favorite features is the non-stick coating on the blade. I didn’t really think much of it at first, but it actually makes a difference! You know how sometimes tape and glue can get all stuck on the blade? Not with this one! It cuts cleanly every time, which is a big plus in my book.The size is just right—7.5 inches is easy to handle without feeling bulky. Plus, it comes with a sheath that keeps the blade covered when I’m not using it, so I can toss it in my drawer or bag without worrying about accidental cuts. I mean, who wants to deal with that?Now, for the downsides: the only thing I noticed is that the sheath can be a bit tricky to get on and off at times. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it could be a bit smoother. Also, it might not be the best choice for those who need a heavy-duty cutter for tougher materials.Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. I love this little tool. It’s like a little saw. Much easier and safer to use than the regular paper cutter that could scratch surfaces when you try to cut through the cardboards. It makes recycling the shipping boxes a breeze.

I love this blade. Cuts through boxes like butter when you use speed instead of pressure. Very durable seeming blade and handle. It can cut through very thick cardboard like it's nothing. I loved it so much after one use, I immediately bought one for my friend who also has to break down a lot of boxes, and he loves it too. Great value and perfect function for it's niche purpose.

It does not cut like a butter. You have to apply some force. It's more like a small saw. But makes it much easier to pack and cut all those Amazon shipping boxes. Easy cuts through edges and corners. A useful helper when taking all those card boxes into a trash chute.

Didnt know I needed something like this, but it sure does make things easier.This thing cuts through cardboard like butter, and is much easier to control than a utility knife. It is also much safer than a utility knife. Also features a little nub at the tip that helps you get under labels to remove them. Also features a blade that is resistant to adhesives.Didn't really think cutting boxes with utility knives was a big problem for me, but now that I know how much easier it can be, I don't think I can go back.

Cuts boxes, plastic, foam, packaging, etc. Surprisingly handy for so MANY things. Makes things truly “frustration free”. I used one at work to open boxes and to flatten them for recycling. Then ordered one for me to have at home. I love that the blade feels safe because it isn’t sharp to the touch- but it gets the job done very well. It worked so good, I want another one.

Best cardboard cutter ever! Beats a matte knife hands down! As an Art teacher for twenty+ years, used it daily….Found nothing better for cutting cardboard. Have recommended it to many and have given it as gifts. Highly recommend. Great tool!

If you open taped cardboard at your job, or have kids who may need to do so and you don't want to just hand them a sharp knife, this cutter is excellent. After I got mine as a gift everyone at work wanted one. Buy the one with a sheath.
