I bought his to use in homemade fall air freshener for my stove top. The star anise are whole stars and simply beautiful. I also use these in a fall wine sangria recipe and it’s truly a delightful taste to my cocktail!

I use these mostly for simmer pots so I need both bits and pieces, and whole pieces for crafts, and this bag had both. I hoped to have more whole pieces, but the semi broken pieces still look great enough for crafting. And they smell so good. They don't overpower dishes or the other scents in my simmer pots. I expect this bag to last a long time.
