I'm very satisfied with the Aosu Wireless Doorbell Camera. The picture quality is impressively clear, and the wide-angle view lets me see everything happening at my door. The night vision is super clear also. One of my favorite features is that there's no need to pay for a monthly subscription - you can just use an SD card to store your recordings. The battery life is also great; it lasts a long time between charges. Overall, it's a reliable and user-friendly doorbell camera that gives you peace of mind without any hidden costs. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was new to video doorbells, so I reviewed lots of video doorbell products online and bought another brand for my alley entrance to my condo. After a few weeks, I decided I wanted another for my front door but wanted to try a different brand and chose Aosu. I’m so glad I did!The Aosu is better in several ways: the picture is clear and gives me a wider view. I did not want to hard wire anydoorbells, so I chose models with a rechargeable battery, and the charge on this product’s battery lasts three times longer than the one I have at my alley entrance. Additionally, this model can use an SD card to record videos which means I don’t need to sign up for an icloud service. Lastly, the app is easy to install and has many helpful features. I plan on replacing the first video doorbell I bought with another Aosu, similar to this one soon. I’m very happy with the quality for the price I paid! . Highly recommend! I bought the AOSU after getting the WYZE and Blink doorbell coz I wanted the SD card option, no subscription. The wyze was bulky and did not allow me to separate the alarms from the other wyze cameras, the Blink was ok but had a very limited field of vision. The AOSU has a wide angle camera that allows me to see my porch ground to ceiling, very nice. The pic is sharp and bright. The alerts(little slower than blink) and time to live is quite fast. I think this one is a keeper. I am not sure how long the battery is going to last but with the chime it works really well. I am giving it 4 stars for the reason it does not have wired option(wyze has it) and also no included angle wedge to mount it. For the quality and speed I like it so far.Update on battery life: full charge lasts about 60 days. I recharged mine after about 40 days when it showed 50%

This is an excellent product and a good value to boot! It arrived within hours of ordering with a partial charge and reached a 100% charge within an hour right out of the box. Installation was simple with the step by step set up in the app — which is well designed and user friendly. Video quality is excellent with crisp HD detail. I set the motion detection to less than medium, and haven’t had a single unwanted notification so far. After a couple of days playing with it and fine tuning the settings the battery is still at 100%. That it operates with an SD card for video recording (not included) and not dependent on a monthly monitoring subscription is a huge plus! You can spend a lot more for a comparable unit and not do much better. Highly recommend this product.

Plus, the included chime (which I keep in my living room) is loud enough that I can hear it from anywhere in the house.It was also so easy to set up, totally waterproof, and it looks really nice too. This is an update and reclassificationI purchased the doorbell in Nivember 2024. Installarion and set up were very easy and the camera worked well, except that is was very slow sharging. It took two 8 hr sessions ti get it to charge to 80%.Based on my earlier review, I was contacted by the service rep from the company and they offered to send mea replacement.I have tried the new doorbell and it works quite well and charged from 0 to 100 y less than 5 hrs. The battery lasts over 1.5 months.The connection with my cell phone is still a bit slow ( a 5 sec delay), in spite of my high speed internet, but it is manageable.I am very happy with this doorbell and think it was a good value for the money!Previous review....The doorbell is a nice compact unit, very easy to install. It is also well waterproofed.The App is also easy to manage but does take 20-40 seconds ro engage when the bell ringsCharging: The more problemmatic part is that it takes too long to charge. Yesterday it was plugged for 7 hr and only charged 38%. Howwever, the battery lasts about 1.5 months on one 100% charge. So, I can leave with that, for now.
