Honestly works so great. We have a REALLY old house with no central air conditioning so we have to have ac units in basically every working window in the house, and before this one we had an even bigger more expensive one that genuinely could not keep up with the heat even in combination with the 3 others running, and we bought this one a few weeks ago and couldnt work better, its been so nice and cool!

If you installing in a aluminum framed window be prepared to make trial and error adjustment for a proper install. The first thing I noticed in instructions it was desinged for wood or vinyl windows. I got it installed and it cool great.

This came On time. Box was a little damaged but product was okay. It works but does not have the blower power I expected on high. Otherwise ok. Remote control works fine but usually just do it manually. Noise level is a little loud but not horrible. Overall good product. Hopefully, will last several years.

We live in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Bought this for my roommates room to save the central AC. He says it works great & his room is always cold when i go in there. makes odd hissing sound when it kicks on to start cooling but that’s it. his room is small 8x8 & hit with sun most of the day. Important to note he turns it on early in the day- unsure if it cools a super hot room down quickly. I will update my review when we try it.

I've tried this for a few days.It was easy to assemble and install. I tried it on many settings and it just doesn't cool.I have a small apartment and I have two units. The smaller one on the back side which is in direct sunlight cools the best on the lowest setting.This one is new and is on high cool set in the low 60s and it's always hot in the part of the apartment.It is in the shade so it shouldn't have to work as hard.I don't know if it's a bad unit or what but it doesn't work. It is also very loud.

The Good: It does a great job of cooling my office.The Bad:LOUD: So noisy that my colleagues can hear it during conference calls. THUDS ON STARTUP: Makes a jarring * Thud every time the compressor kicks on.INEFFICIENT: It's a true power hog. It causes my lights to flicker, and my electrician measured it pulling almost 1850 watts. Picked up an LG and it cool just as well and only pulling 700 Watts. Verdict: I would not purchase this again or recommend it for anyone working from home or concerned about their power bill.
