Set up is just a matter of entering the time and date, this is then recorded automatically each time thereafter. The test itself couldn't be easier, slotting the test strip into the top of the monitor turns the unit on, apply the tip of the strip to the drop of blood, wait ten seconds and bravo, test complete. Removing the used strip turns the monitor back off. The readout is very clear, and results are stored, so a clear idea of how well you're managing your glucose levels is available. I think that the simplicity of use of this monitor would make it particularly good for anyone new to testing their blood levels.

Found the instructions long winded but did read them, tried the kit, very easy to use. You do not need any solution as stated in the instructions, which is a bit off putting, but ignore that bit. Great purchase.
