It does function great to provide shade without being heavy, so if you need a little sun protection on a patch of garden or outdoor play area, this is a great price for something so versatile. The stitching around the edges won’t hold up to high winds or anything, though, and there’s some tearing around the edges of the grommets brand new. I would be surprised if that wasn’t the case for this kind of material though. It is very lightweight though which will make rigging it up extra easy which isn’t a bad tradeoff for durability.

Liked the idea , but stitching came off the corner before first use. Bought 2 keep 1.

I needed a small shade screen to protect my Hosta until the honeysuckle covers the arbor. This has worked perfectly for keeping the sun out. Last week we had 70 mph+ wind that took out my neighbors' trees, but the cloth was still there. I'd say the construction is Texas tuff!
