Decal Setting Solution - Micro Scale Micro Sol 102 + Micro Set 101 Package Decal

Micro Set is an extremely versatile decal setting solution that will do some things to improve your application. Micro Set applies to the surface of the model that slides the decal from the back of the paper. Micro Set prepares the surface with a special wetting agent, cutting the oil with new paint and turning the adhesive on the back of the decal into a stronger and longer lasting piece. In addition, the Micro Set will slightly soften the decal film to increase flexibility, which makes it more conformable to the surface of the model. By applying the decal to the model, it prevents small air bubbles from forming into a "paint on look" invisible carrier film. To apply the microset: use a soft flat artist brush and apply the microset to the area where the decal will be installed. Next, use a small sharp tip synthetic bristle brush to slide the decal from the backing paper and carefully position the decal in place. Carefully wipe with tissue or paper towel to avoid disturbing the position of the stickers. Let the sticker dry overnight. Then you are ready for a protective coat of Micro Coat Flat, Satin or Gloss. Micro Sol setting solution is for the most difficult irregular surfaces found in models. It completely softens the Microscale Decal, drapes over the surface of the model, and is perfectly conformable to irregular-free surface irregularities. Micro Sol actually makes the decal part of the paint surface so you get the most amazing results where it is impossible. So please coat your Micro Sol for a few seconds before leaving it on. It works. Do not touch the decal until it is dry. Because our decals are very soft in this stage and may easily be damaged. For best results, apply Micro Sol to trim the surface and strengthen the adhesive. Make sure the surface is free of particles that could get under the film of the decal.
