This is a game changer. We use to use a diaper genie to throw out our individual bags of poop for our 85 pound dog. It worked but isn’t designed for outside even though it was in a covered space. It reduced the odor but not completely. This one is amazing. We still use individual bags for clean up but when you lift the lid it is odor free and the unit is really durable. We use the black bags that they sell to line the unit even though they claim you don’t need them. It seems easier to throw out the waste rather than dumping it. We keep the black bags in the top compartment. It’s a little pricey but truly worth the money.

This pail works as described. I have a great dane puppy who goes several times a day. A LOT of waste to contain and I needed something that would contain odors in the Florida heat as I have neighbors pretty close. This does the job and it holds quite a lot of waste and continues to control odor even when full. Even though it is a bit pricey I am glad I bought it. A few minor design issues, the magnet that holds the filter in place is not strong enough and the filter drops into the basket at times so a little bit of a nuisance there. Stronger magnet would be a simple fix for the price that is being asked but the product is still worth it because it does do it's job very well. The bin is a little top heavy so I have mine leaned against something so it doesn't topple over when empty. Once it has a few bags of waste in it is fine. It withstands rain and storms fine. The interior basket that holds the waste is a nice part of the design because all you need to do is lift the basket out of the pail by the handles on each side. I am very happy with this product.

Overall, I think this works really well. They need a fly repellent odor. I keep this outside and it is hot out there! Expect to have flies and maggots in and around the bin. What I do is I empty this once a week on trash day. But when I go out to get it, I bring hot water and white vinegar and pour it around and in the bin. This kills the bugs and I’m able to deal with it. Otherwise, good idea and design. Keeps the poop out of your bin and getting that all stinky and smelly.

I’m an engineer yet still wonder what kind of benevolent sorcery is contained in the production of this bin. I was so satisfied that I bought a second, and they’re both worth every penny. They just happen to match the color on the stucco of my house, but that isn’t the selling point.They work better at trapping smells than (gulp) my beloved SimpleHuman garbage cans inside my home.The brand specific bags are nice, but not a must have. We buy a year’s worth of individual pickup bags at a time, and use plain plastic grocery bags to line the bin. Yeah, you get an unpleasant whiff when you take the liners out once a week and put them with your household garbage at the curb, but it certainly isn’t overwhelming. My morning breath is probably more likely to knock you over from the vile smell.I get it. The price is high. Feels like a luxury, not a necessity. But unless your dogs roam around 10+ wooded acres and do their business deep past your tree line, this magical can will make your life better. Imagine not having to coax, beg, or threaten anybody who’s turn it is for garbage duty. Or worrying if your neighbor that saw you outside and stopped to chat might be thinking the gawdawful stench is you, or your garage, or your house.It’s a one-time investment that I’m nearly certain you’ll be glad you made.

This has been the most helpful system for our two dogs. 1) there is a filter in top-no smell. 2) convenient and we leave it right under the porch and don’t even notice it. Bags are great size and they are right on top in their own compartment. 3) easy to move, use and we just love love it. Best investment in a clean yard, accessible bags, and no odor !

It blows my mind how this has positive reviews. Let's break down the MULTIPLE issues with this product. One, the lid does not stay open, slams close instantly. This requires user to constantly touch a poop infested bucket. Two, the basket is such a terrible idea to use mesh. Its not even a smooth mesh so if you're pulling out a heavy bag of dog poop, if you're not pulling slowly it WILL catch on the mesh holes ripping the bag. Third, the charcoal filter is absolutely trash. Within months it rusted and continually would fall into the waste bin. Honestly, this is an extremely overly priced 5 gallon bucket from home stores. Spend the $7 at a home store and save the rest of your money

The media could not be loaded. Paw Pail has been a great investment. We have very little yard, and decided to designate the side of our house where all the mechanical equipment is located as a “doggy bathroom area” for our two dogs. We laid down artificial turf, and use artificial turf doggy deodorizer and a hose once a week to keep it clean and odor free. The Paw Pail system adds to the cleanliness factor. It is convenient, well thought out and a terrific system for properly disposing of dog waste while not smelling up the side of the house and dog run. We live in California, the weather is warm and sunny, and even with the heat, there is no smell, no flies, no problem! In all the years I’ve been a pet owner, I’ve never had a more convenient system available for cleaning up after my dogs. I wish I had thought of this! I highly recommend buying the wall mount for added stability and easy one hand usage. The added height gained by wall mounting is very helpful as well. We no longer need the pooper scooper shown on the video. The bags are large, easy to manage and make clean up a breeze! So happy that this particular part of dog ownership has been improved by a factor of a thousand!

I purchased this product in September of 2024. 6 months later the lid needs replaced. The cover to the filter fell off over and over until it would no longer go back on at all. It is certainly a good product. A bit small if you have two or more large dogs. But for the price, it did not last as long as it should.
